When you are preparing for an around the world adventure, you read as many travel blogs as you can in order to prepare.  Every week we list our favorite articles from some of the best travel writers out there, but if you think we missed any… please share!

  • What Sofia will and won’t miss in Southeast Asia.  Every backpacker we follow seems to make a long stop in the region and what Sofia will miss sounds like they outweigh won’t she won’t… by a lot.  We will have to add it to our list!
  • The Wandering Trader is putting together some great info on our first stop: Chile.  While Chile might be underrated by some travelers, it isn’t by us.  I can’t wait to see what other info will be added here because we need all of the help we can get.
  • Following your excitement is both about choosing exciting paths, and the way you show up.”  Are you following your excitement?  We have taken the first few steps towards ours and hope to show you that it is easier than you think… but we’ll find out for sure soon enough!
  • 80… yes 80 great tips that experienced travelers wish they knew before they started their journey.
  • What was Nomadic Matt’s biggest travel regret?  Not going abroad.  We both did it and could not recommend it any stronger to all of you college students trying to figure out if it is worth being left out of the social loop at your school for a semester.  Do it.  You will not regret it.
  • Steve writes a fantastic tribute to his grandma who just recently passed away.  Travelling the world is made extra hard when major life events happen back home, but Steve has done a fine job with this tribute.  Steve wants to hear the great things you intend on accomplishing in your life in honor of his Nana, so click over and share your inspirational goals.
