The Time Traveling Traveler

(Sorry. The video no longer is active… but trust me. It was GOOD!) This is a fascinating video about people’s perspectives of time and how entire cultures are molded by shared perspectives.

Which got me thinking: Why do some people decide to travel the world? Why do some only dream of doing it while stuck in their cubicle? Why can’t the dreamers create a plan to make those dreams reality?

Next time friends or family members start to question how you could possibly leave your job and travel the world, just remember that they probably view time differently. You most likely can plan ahead, prepare, and save. Only a future-positive person could plan for a whole year to travel the world… save every loose dime they could find and slowly cross off all of those days on the calendar.

I am most definitely future-positive with just a dash of present-hedonistic… what can I say?  Who doesn’t like a little pleasure?

So what are you and how does your perspective on time influence your travels? And if you are only dreaming of travel… why haven’t you started to plan?
